Ann (known as Karen) lives local to Hungerford  with two grown daughters who both live and work locally.  She has lived locally for 30 years, having moved from her family home in Scotland when just 21.  Her children attended local schools and she was a Parent Governor responsible for Special Needs provision for many years in her local primary school. She has also been a Trustee for Swindon Women’s Aid for 6 years and more recently since 2019 a Trustee for Bridge For Young People in Newbury.

Karen is an experienced business woman having run her husband’s multi-million pound business as well as a solicitor specialising in family law and corporate law. She has a degree in Business and languages , a diploma in marketing as well as her law degree and post graduate degree in legal practice certificate.

Karen is also the Chairman of Hungerford Chamber of Commerce.
