Alex talks about why you need a lawyer to sell your business

We can review and make sure contracts are up-to-date and compliant. These are particularly important with client/customer contracts, employment contracts and any leases your business may have.

A sensible buyer will check these points and issues can cause sales to fall through.

Require all potential buyers and involved parties to sign confidentiality agreements to protect your business’s sensitive information, including IP details, during the sale process.

Identify all the IP assets of your business, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets to make sure you are not missing out on anything of value.
